Happy December! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and took advantage of all the sales. My Cyber Monday was spent traveling for 9 hours back to Atlanta from Virginia Beach. No shopping for me. It was my first time driving home since I moved to Atlanta over three and a half years ago. Suffice it to say flying remains my preferred mode of transportation.

Besides the holidays, I have been excited about the cooler temperatures for mainly two reasons: layers and boots. I purchased this teal beauty my second year of collage and ever since has been one of my favorites. Yes, it is pretty old, but I love this trench. I enjoy layering the coat over a simple outfit to add a pop of color. Unfortunately American Eagle no longer carries this coat, however this one is similar and affordable. I also found this teal trench that looks the same but even warmer. Thank goodness it was cooler than yesterday when these photos were taken. Underneath my coat I wore a thick sweater dress that did a great job keeping me warm, paired with my knee high boots (and socks). Now, if only the temperature can remain on the cool side for it to actually feel like December and almost Christmas. I cannot believe it’s Christmas time. Time for Christmas decorations and party dresses! Stay tuned.

Happy Decorating!
