As awful the situation is for me to be here in Richmond, I remain beyond grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy its beauty. The scenery here is unbelievable. I love to wander around an unknown city and seek out its gems. Richmond has a lot of them. It’s a pedestrian friendly city, with lots of museums and historic buildings to see. Everyday during my walks to and from the hospital, I am at awe at how beautiful the architecture is.

Since I’ve been traveling so much, I thought it was time to invest in a book bag. Of course, it had to be a fashionable backpack. I had my eyes on this leather fringe Rebecca Minkoff for awhile. As sad as it was to see Piperlime go, their sales were the greatest and I sure as hell took advantage of it. Not only did I snag this comfortable and stylish travel bag, I also purchased these bohemian inspired heels that I’ve loved since the moment I laid eyes on them. You must try to see the beauty in everything that happens, right? Right.
