This Crab Toast, with avocado, was one of my favorites.
When I learned that one of my favorite local chefs opened a new restaurant, I had to try it out! I am in love with every restaurant he’s opened so far. For this endeavor Ford Fry deviated from his normal large restaurant format to a smaller more intimate atmosphere. Although Bar Margot is not physically as large, the food and ambiance is as eloquent as any standalone restaurant. My girlfriends, Alyssa from ATL Bucket List, Megha from Artistry by Megha and I had an amazing experience trying out the variety of dishes Bar Margot offers. The small, shareable plates are explosive and complex with many layers of flavor. From appetizers, starters, first course, entrees, to the final course and desert, the deliciousness never stopped. It is definitely a leap from your ordinary bar experience. We were impressed by their exceptional service, laid-back atmosphere, and big-flavor food. This is one place locals and travelers should consider. Bar Margot will not disappoint.
Copper Kettle, the first gin drink of the evening
Amazing selection of artisan cheeses and charcuterie
Japanese sashimi with soy vinaigrette. This will melt in your mouth.
This scallop dish was divine and a must-try!
Another favorite – Ricotta Gnudi
Beef Tartare topped with crispy oysters
Lady Victoria, a fresh vodka-based drink, will make a great spring and summer cocktail.
Wood Grilled Lamb Ribs with harissa
The ultimate surprise, Chocolate Bomb, filled with amazingness. You need to order one yourself to see what’s inside. It’s custom created for the occasion you’re celebrating. We were celebrating friendship, food, and Alyssa hitting 20K followers!
Thank you so much Bar Margot for our unforgettable experience!
