Eating is one of my favorite things to do, so when a group of bloggers headed out to brunch I had to join in. We checked out a fairly new Asian-fusion restaurant located in the Westside part of Atlanta, Pijiu Belly. Pijiu Belly has a number of interesting brunch items to choose from including The Pijiu Burger, Three Meat Scramble, and Rotissserie Chicken & Waffles. Along with carafes of mimosas, everyone ordered something different on the table. I ordered the The Pijiu Burger topped with kimchi, barbecue sauce, and Sriracha mayo with a side of Fried Grit Sticks. The combination was pretty bad ass, for the palette and the body. I’ve fallen in love with grits since moving to the south, but I’ve never had a fried grit stick until this afternoon. They were made with bacon aioli and they were the bomb. The burger was pretty delicious but anything with kimchi and Sriracha are amazing. As bloggers do, we snapped photos of food, caught up with each others blogging life, then snapped more photos. It’s always a good time.

During this excoriating hot summer day, I wore a light and easy summer-esquee outfit. The top and skirt are both on major sale. Between this top and other floral printed pieces I’ve worn, I guess you can say bold, bright prints have been my thing lately.

Where should we head to next for brunch?
